Good Questions, Honest Answers
Everything Baton Rouge neighbors usually want to know before their first visit — and if we missed one, just call.
What areas around Baton Rouge do you serve?
We're based in Baton Rouge (70802) and cover roughly a 22-mile radius. That's the whole city — Mid City, the Garden District, Southdowns, Sherwood Forest and more — plus nearby towns like Denham Springs, Central, Baker, Zachary and Prairieville. If you're near the capital, call and we'll usually make it work.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. On most jobs we can pin down a solid price from a couple of photos and a short call. Larger projects get a no-charge visit in person. Whichever it is, you'll have a definite figure before anything gets booked.
How does pricing work — do you charge by the hour?
Wherever we can, we price the work itself rather than the hours, so the cost is clear from the start. On open-ended punch-list days we'll settle on a rate and a rough scope ahead of time so nothing catches you off guard. And if the work goes quicker than planned, the price shifts in your favor.
Are you insured?
We do — we hold general-liability coverage and will gladly show you the paperwork. We're locally based here in Baton Rouge, so we stand behind the work and we're a phone call away if a question comes up afterward.
What kinds of jobs do you handle — and what don't you?
We handle the wide middle of home repair and upkeep: drywall, doors, mounting, fixtures, fences, gutters, painting, storm prep and the running punch list. Louisiana sets clear dollar lines on bigger work — under $7,500 needs no state credential, and larger jobs call for registration or a residential license — and we register as the work requires. When a job crosses into new electrical, gas or major plumbing, that's licensed-trade territory and we'll point you to a pro we'd use ourselves.
Can I just text you a photo of the problem?
By all means — it's the quickest route to a price. One or two sharp photos plus a line about what's wrong is usually enough for us to quote it and sort scheduling without coming out first.
How do I schedule, and how far out are you booked?
Phone or text us and we'll line up the soonest opening that works. We can typically be out within a few days, and quicker still for pressing problems like storm damage or a leak that won't hold.
How can I pay?
We accept the common payment methods and keep the whole thing straightforward. You'll know the agreed figure before we begin, and it's due once the job's finished and you're happy with it.
